If you want to keep only the warband version which works with NI (1.153) :Ĭheck you steam library, right click on Warband, "view downloadable content" Playing warband this way should let you use the ingame steam chat. You can rename to Mount & Blade 1.153 it if you want. Once you have done that, you will find the game in your steam library. On the bottom-left corner, click "+ Add a game" then Browse, select the folder you chose when you set the destination path and click the mb_warband.exe file. You can find it in Senni's post : Here is it : Įxecute it (initialization might take a few minutes), set the Destination path (for example your program files folder, or the steam/SteamApps/common folder) and install. Steam updates your warband version automatically (unless you have disabled it). If you want to keep the latest warband version on steam for other mods, and add the 1.153 version on steam as a non-steam game :

Playing a warband mod on steam enables the steam overlay (chat steam while you play, steam buddies can see you as "In-game : Mount & Blade Warband, etc.)Ĭurrent NI version (0.5.1) is not compatible with 1.157/1.158 but does work with 1.153. Quite a lot of players needed some help about it (since 0.5.1 update doesn't work with the last warband version), so I guess a short quide about that could be useful.
